Restorative Yoga

Wednesdays 7:45PM MT on ZOOM

Join Leah for a restorative class created to promote deep relaxation and balance the nervous system. Restorative yoga uses props that provide a feeling of comfort and safety, which allows the body to find space in long supported holds. Mindfully slowing down the breath and increasing body awareness further encourages the body to soften, leaving you feeling calm and centered.
It is recommended to wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing and have several bolsters (or blankets and pillows) and a yoga strap (or long scarf/belt) available for supported poses.

Class time: 60 min

Leah Balding

Leah Balding

Leah was introduced to yoga by her mother at the age of twelve, and her personal practice has been evolving ever since. Her personal health journey led to back surgery in 2008, and recovery has taught her that healing isn’t linear, and yoga isn’t just for healthy bodies. She completed her 200 hr YTT in 2012 and in her yoga classes she cultivates a community that is inclusive and adaptive to student’s individual needs. Yoga and meditation have helped her cope and feel more centred, and she loves teaching people the skills to find calm and ease on the mat that they can transfer to everyday life.
