Leah was introduced to yoga by her mother at the age of twelve, and her personal practice has been evolving ever since. Her personal health journey led to back surgery in 2008, and recovery has taught her that healing isn’t linear, and yoga isn’t just for healthy bodies. She completed her 200 hr YTT in 2012 and in her yoga classes she cultivates a community that is inclusive and adaptive to student’s individual needs. Yoga and meditation have helped her cope and feel more centred, and she loves teaching people the skills to find calm and ease on the mat that they can transfer into everyday life.
